Personalised Corporate Gifts Engraved in Our Own Workshop
We engrave corporate gifts on our laser at One Tree Point in Northland, working in bamboo, timber, acrylic and two tone laminate. Whether you need ten or two hundred, everything is made here rather than bought in and re-badged.
There is no minimum order, and the price per piece comes down with quantity, mostly because the setup and proofing only happen once. It does not change much with how complicated your logo is, since a laser is not really bothered by detail.
Personalising each piece is where a laser does something other methods struggle with. Every item in a run can carry a different name at very little extra cost, so forty boards each engraved with the recipient's name costs barely more than forty identical ones.
Chopping and serving boards in bamboo or hardwood, engraved with a logo, a name or a message, are our most requested corporate gift and the one that genuinely gets used. Fish filleting boards are a close second and are nicely distinctive, since very few people are giving one.
Timber gift boxes with an engraved lid work well on their own or as packaging for something else, and we make them as Christmas boxes too. Logo plaques and awards in acrylic, two tone laminate or timber suit recognition, milestones, retirements and long service. Desk pieces include name blocks, pen holders, business card holders and coasters, and we also make engraved wine and bottle boxes in single or double.
For volume runs and event giveaways there are keyrings, tags and small items, and we make trophies and engraved plates, including replacement plates for trophies you already have. If you have an idea that is not on the list, do ask, because some of the best jobs we have made started that way.
Bamboo is hard, dense and pale, so an engraved logo comes up dark and crisp with plenty of contrast. It is sustainable, food safe and looks more expensive than it is, which makes it our default for boards.
Hardwood and timber are warmer with more grain character, and every piece takes the engraving slightly differently, which is part of the appeal for a gift meant to feel individual.
Acrylic suits awards, plaques and desk pieces, since it cuts to any shape, the edges polish as they are cut, and it can be reverse engraved and colour filled for a more premium finish. Two tone laminate is best where the piece is really identification, such as asset plates, name plates and recognition plaques meant to last decades.
You do not need a print-ready file. Send whatever you have and we will let you know honestly how well it will engrave.
Clean shapes, solid areas and clear lettering engrave beautifully, and a logo that works in a single colour will generally work on a laser. Very fine detail, thin strokes, gradients, drop shadows and photographic elements need a bit more thought. They can all be handled, but they usually need adapting first, since a small logo with hair-thin lettering will fill in on timber. We would rather redraw it properly than engrave something you are disappointed with.
Either way you will get a proof showing the actual engraving at actual size on the material you have chosen, before anything is cut.
There is no minimum order. One retirement plaque is a job, and so is 150 client gifts. The price per piece comes down with quantity, mostly because setup and proofing only happen once.
Every piece in a run can carry a different name at very little extra cost, which is where a laser really earns its keep. A run of forty boards each engraved with the recipient's name costs barely more than forty identical ones.
Small runs are usually a matter of days, while larger runs depend on materials arriving. If you are thinking about Christmas gifts, it is well worth talking to us in October. Every engraver in the country is flat out in the last three weeks of November, and that is when jobs end up rushed.

Send us your logo in whatever format you have along with a rough quantity, and we will come back with some options and a price per piece. If you are after ideas rather than a quote, our blog post on corporate gift ideas goes through what tends to get used and what quietly ends up in a drawer.
There isn't one. A single retirement plaque is a job, and so is 150 client gifts.
Yes, at very little extra cost. A laser has no tooling to change between pieces, which is exactly where it beats other methods.
Whatever you have. A vector file is ideal but a good image is usually fine, and we will let you know if anything needs adapting before we cut.

Yes, we send gift runs all around the country, and we can post directly to recipients if that is easier for you.
