Durapole® Bases and Mounts

Description

Bases, stakes and brackets for the Durapole flag display system. Whichever flag you have, the mount is what decides where it can go and how well it stands up in the wind, so it is worth matching to the site rather than guessing.

Every one of these takes the standard Durapole spigot, so it fits a Flex feather flag, a Mayfly teardrop, a Swing rectangle or an XT display without an adaptor.

What each one is for

• Heavy Plastic Base (10kg) - Robust moulded plastic, will not corrode, suitable indoors or out. Rubber feet and a carry handle. Stacks with a second base if you need more hold.
• Stackable Heavy Plastic Bases (2 x 10kg) - Two 10kg plastic bases stacked, for exposed frontages and windier sites. Will stack up to three high if you need more again.
• Heavy Metal Base (10kg) - Steel, indoors or out, with rubber feet and a carry handle. A smaller footprint than the plastic base for the same weight.
• Cross Foot Base (4.0kg, foldable) - Folds flat and travels in the same bag as the pole set, so the whole display packs into a car. Add the water bag below if you need more weight on the day.
• Water Bag for Cross Foot Base (10L) - Ring shaped bladder that sits over the cross foot base and fills on site. Empty for transport, 10kg of hold once it is filled.
• Ground Stake (heavy duty) - Drives into grass or soft ground and comes with a rotating spigot so the flag can turn with the wind.
• In Ground Mount (stainless steel) - For a permanent position on a lawn. Stainless steel so it will not rust, and it sits flush enough to mow over once the pole is out.
• U Base (galvanised, sits under a car wheel) - Galvanised U shaped base that you park a wheel on, so a car yard or an open site holds a flag with no ballast to carry.
• Towbar Mount (powdercoated steel) - Clamps onto a standard towbar and comes off in seconds. The usual choice for real estate agents and car yards working across several sites in a day.
• Bollard Mount (heavy duty galvanised) - Galvanised bracket that wraps a round bollard. Built for the larger Durapole poles and swing arms.
• 65 Degree Wall Mount - Bolts to a wall with the spigot angled out, so the flag leans clear of the building and reads from the footpath.
• 90 Degree Wall Mount - Bolts to a wall with the spigot vertical, so the flag stands straight up hard against the building.

Which mount suits the site

Hard stand and events take a weighted base. Grass and soft ground take a ground stake or an in ground mount. A wall, a bollard or a towbar each have their own bracket. If you are not sure which one fits where the flag is going, tell us about the site and we will confirm it before you order.

Fits the whole Durapole range

Every mount here uses the same Durapole spigot, so it will take a Flex, Mayfly, Swing or XT pole. You can move one flag between a base at the shop and a stake at a weekend event without buying anything else.
